简 介

美国哥伦比亚电视台的新闻记者爱德华（大卫·斯特雷泽恩 David Strathairn饰）和他的同事们对这个政治阴谋坚决抗争。他们用自己的新闻理想、新闻阵地，毫无退缩地与麦卡锡主义对抗到底，并把这个丑陋的政客拉下政治舞台。爱德华和他的同事，成为了美国历史上的传奇人物。
