　　影片导演为曾经执导过《侠盗石川》(GOEMON)的日本导演纪里谷和明。影片以未知时代为背景，讲述了勇猛和忠诚的将军雷顿（克里夫·欧文饰演）与其拥戴的君主巴托（摩根·弗里曼饰演）在挑战腐败权力的同时卷入攸关生死事件的故事。电影计划明年冬季在北美地区上映。
