简 介
本片根据1998年的法国电影《Le Diner de Cons》改编而成。
蒂姆·瓦格纳（保罗·路德 Paul Rudd 饰）为了讨好上司，从而顺利升职，参加了一个被称为"白痴之宴"的活动，目的就是成功的寻找到一个完美的同伴共赴晚餐，届时看谁的同伴是白痴中的白痴。蒂姆找来了看上去很傻的国税局雇员巴里（史蒂夫·卡瑞尔 Steve Carell 饰）担当他的同伴，去竞选那个"白痴之最"的称号，以便逗乐老板。但是，哪里想到，阴差阳错的事情发生了，巴里虽然确实白痴，但是却意外的让蒂姆的老板同样出丑，在这场晚宴制造了不小的风波，蒂姆该如何收场？到底谁才是真正的白痴极品？
